Meet Mark Lee, PhD, MD
Mark Lee, MD, PhD, MBA, is chief of the neurosurgery division where he specializes in surgery to relieve seizures in children and young adults. Dr. Lee obtained both his medical and doctorate degrees in neurobiology at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, completed residency training and a pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at New York University, and an epilepsy surgery fellowship at Medical College of Georgia. He earned a master's degree in business administration at the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business. Dr. Lee is board certified in both neurosurgery and pediatric neurosurgery.
Dr. Lee's areas of expertise include epilepsy surgery, tumor surgery (brain and spinal cord), Chiari malformation, hydrocephalus, endoscopic neurosurgery, minimally invasive neurosurgery. He has been included annually among listings of Best Doctors in America and America's Top Doctors. Dr. Lee's hobbies include reading, fitness and finance.
