We are constantly striving to improve the technology behind our communication capabilities and are excited to announce the launch of a new-and-improved text messaging platform! This new platform will ensure you have the continued ability to receive vital information on topics such as important COVID-19 updates, annual benefits enrollments, weather and disaster events, and critical facility messages.

Appearance of Messages
We now have the ability to differentiate between different message types so that you can quickly determine its priority. Emergency alerts are sent to Associates within a specific geographical location about local weather or other emergencies/disaster events. Informational advisories are sent to ensure you received an important email communication. You will quickly be able to distinguish the message type to determine how it might impact you.
Email Back-Up
You will now not only receive a text message on your mobile phone but will also receive the same notification in your email. This serves as a backup in the event you missed the text message.
How to Opt-Out
There are two ways you can opt-out of receiving future text messages and email notifications:
- Each text message will give you the ability to reply “STOP” to opt-out
- Click the “Sign Up for CHRISTUS Text Messages” box located towards the bottom of the MyCHRISTUSLife home page Once the dialogue box is open, select the “Un-enroll” button located towards the top of the page.
You will receive a confirmation text message confirming you have un-enrolled from text messaging.
We understand these messages will be sent to your personal mobile phones and that standard charges may apply. Therefore, please note that extra care will be taken to ensure only important, time-sensitive and action-oriented messages will be sent to you by text.
