Meet Melissa Svoboda, MD

Melissa Svoboda is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. She received her medical degree from UT Health San Antonio. She completed a pre-doctoral research fellowship in autism at Johns Hopkins/Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. She completed her pediatric residency at University Hospital/CHRISTUS Children's and her Child Neurology/Neurodevelopmental Disabilities fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University, Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Svoboda specializes in autism, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. She is medical director of CHRISTUS Children's Autism Program. She serves as CHRISTUS Children's Director of the San Antonio Applied Behavior Analysis Project, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Autism Treatment Center.
