The Foundation Women’s Board has chosen a breast cancer theme for their 2022 fundraising initiative. One hundred percent of your donation will directly support:

  • Funding the purchase of the Trident HD Specimen Radiography System for breast cancer surgery. Every woman who has experienced breast cancer surgery wants the utmost assurance that all margins are clear. The Trident is the next-generation of high-definition mobile imaging machines that lets the surgeon check – in real time while still in the operating room – that they’ve successfully removed all cancerous cells from a patient’s breast.
  • Supporting the newly-created Breast Cancer Survivorship Program. This patient support program will address the long-term effects of cancer treatment which present unique medical, physical and psychosocial challenges for breast cancer survivors. The program will include a Survivorship Advance Practice Clinician, who will offer tangible solutions to help restore their quality of life. The program plans to host “lunch and learn” events, will organize support groups and hopes to launch an annual Breast Cancer Survivorship Conference.

We ask for your support to help provide the very latest state-of-the-art technology for breast cancer patients, as well as a program that will surround them with support post-operatively. Your gift will greatly contribute to improved breast cancer treatment, post-treatment health and emotional support for the women who fight this terrible disease.
