The Scoliosis and Spinal Deformities Program provides the most advanced approaches to helping children with both surgical and non-surgical treatment plans. Our Hip Preservation Program is among the leading programs of its kind in our region, helping adolescents and young adults diagnosed with hip dysplasia.
Scoliosis & Spinal Deformities
Scoliosis and spinal deformities occur in children for many reasons, and most do not require surgery. Our team specializes in surgical and non-surgical management of scoliosis and other spine deformities. We work with orthotists, therapists, and other pediatric specialists to determine the best treatment plan for your child. We aim to get kids back to their activities, sports, and fun with friends as quickly as possible.

Hip Preservation Program
When an adolescent or young adult experiences hip pain, we have one of the region’s most experienced surgeons in this area of orthopedics. Our board-certified pediatric orthopedic surgeons specialize in procedures to treat hip dysplasia: femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), Perthes or slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE). These hip preservation procedures can help avoid artificial joint replacement surgery and the often subsequent onset of osteoarthritis.
