CHRISTUS Children’s Gastroenterology Clinic has a team of professionals providing diagnosis and treatment of common and complex gastrointestinal conditions experienced by children of all ages from premature infants through adolescence. Common disorders may include abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting and gastroesophageal reflux with more complex disorders that may be related to irritable bowl syndrome, liver disease, cyclic vomiting and motility disorders, short bowel syndrome and home nutrition support, pancreatic and biliary disorders and metabolic diseases affecting the liver or intestines.

Technology and Talent

Our physicians work with a highly experienced team of nurses and technicians to provide comprehensive diagnostic testing including endoscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, ERCP and pancreatography, pH-impedance, students, motility studies and liver biopsy. Anesthesia and sedation services are readily available.

We are the only pediatric practice in San Antonio with expertise in motility and advanced therapeutic endoscopy.
